Container Garden Design & Installation
Containers are an invaluable component for decorating and adding to the style of your outside space. They can make a strong statement with shape and color or they can punctuate a garden as the centerpiece. In the right environment, even a jumble of pots can look charming. Whatever the intended purpose of the container, it is important the visual balance works between pot and garden.
Terrascapes offers spring, summer, fall, and winter container design installations. Entrances, patios, decks, and courtyards are all enlivened with colorful and artistic garden containers in a variety of sizes and styles.
Below are examples of the containers we have installed for our clients.
Containers by Season
Spring Containers
We begin our spring container program with the warmer weather of March and April. Tulips, daffodils, snow drops, and other harbingers of spring are the perfect plants to brighten up the areas around your house or patio while waiting for the perennials to grow and flower.
Summer Containers
A container garden for the summer season adds garden style to your porch, patio, or entry. Our containers are typically full of summer bloomers which can handle the heat, and they’re full of vibrant colors to add life to your surroundings.
Autumn Containers
The color palette of the autumn season is warm and rich, and your decorative containers will welcome the turning leaves and cooler temperatures. Fall gives us plenty of interesting plant material to use including mums, pumpkins, corn stalks, and flowering cabbage which combine to create a festive atmosphere for everyone.
Winter Containers
Container gardening doesn’t have to stop when the growing season is over. During the bleak days of winter, color and interest are most vital. Taking advantage of strong plants and seasonal cuttings keeps your pots going into the spring.
One of our favorite things about winter is coming home and seeing two colorful containers adorning my front steps. The charming arrangement of boughs, branches and berries designed by my gardening team gives me a moment to pause and enjoy the experience of walking through my front door. In March and April those greens, blues, and reds continue to tender me with their still, crisp freshness. I look forward to it every year.
