Screens are design solutions consisting of two types. Architectural solutions include manufactured panels and lattice, attached structures or mini-sheds. The second approach is to use “live” or green screens with plant material to screen out unsightly features. One plant may be sufficient to do the trick, or you may need a whole planting bed or string of plants to block the view. When screening utilities, preserving access for service crews is a priority. All screens should transform an unappealing space or feature into a neutral or positive view.
